Eparchial Collections

Annual Collections:

Shepherd’s Care – Annual Lenten charities program. Each parish is expected to participate. Customarily “mite boxes” are distributed at the beginning of Great Lent with suggestions for combining alms-giving with our fasting and prayer. At the end of lent or after Pascha the money collected is sent to the economos for distribution to the poor.

One Time Collections:

His Grace, Bishop Nicholas, approves  special collections from time to time requested by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for a special emergencies, situations and other causes. Collections will be announced and directed to the second collection during Liturgy. These funds will be used to support the efforts of Catholic Charities USA and various other charities around the world.
