Children of Syria

A Joint Committee of St. John Chrysostom Melkite and St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox parishes planned and sponsored fund-raising events to benefit the children of Syria who have been affected by the ongoing war.

The events have been alternately held at the two parishes in Atlanta. Supporters and Donors have been Melkites, Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Protestants, Moslems, Non-Denominational persons & other interested parties.

It is neither politically-connected, nor biased, nor prejudiced to any particular government or citizen group or religious faith. The families, Christian and Muslim, who come begging at the doors of the two Patriarchates are treated equally.
